Kapit my hometown

Kapit..I really miss you.Well,Kapit is my hometown.A place where i was born and grew up.But now, i'm at somewhere,not in Kapit anymore.

I miss the tranquility of Kapit.Really feel so safe and we free to play and jump into the river during childhood.Really ideal place for picnic and camping and fishing.I miss that moment.

Iban longhouse along the river bank.

My longhouse at the upstream of the river bank.Last time, you can even see a lot kind of fish such as empurau, semah,tengadak and labang deep inside the clear water.Sorry guys i don't know the scientific name of these fish. But im sure these fish you can even catch it easily and cook it in the bamboo for a great taste and best aroma or iban words is pansuh,yummy!

But now, a bit water pollution, from clear water become milo water because of logging activity.Well this picture is somewhere at Pelagus,down stream area.A lot of people say that Pelagus river is really true true adventure.You can see a big rock in the middle of river.The express boat driver is expert to handle this situation.More adventure to upstream of Pelagus area.Did you heard about Bakun hidryoelectric project?

I go back to Kapit sooner.I promise i will have more picture to share and more about Kapit story.
