It's been a while not having this scratch cucumber in the menu. I call it scratch cucumber because using the folk to scratch it and pull the content. The cucumber must be old one with the orange color in skin. They called it timun dayak.The different from other green cucumber is , the orange cucumber is more sour.There, you go in combination with shrimp paste, belacan, ...and chillies.
Besides make the kimchi , Napa cabbage can go with the sambal, added some long bean. Simple but it is yummy.
I manage to capture this picture of uncomplete sambal of wild ginger flower's seeds aka bunga kantan. Take the ripe seeds and mix with belacan, shrimp paste, union and......chillies. Haha never miss the chillies..
Just to share a lil boy was eating chilli sauce.: ). Sorry if there an inappropriate . The boy was burping
