Halo..I am Sunged

Halo…
My mami called me Sunged. I am 2 months old now.I got 3 words in my name.Sunged is my father’s great grandfather’s name.



In Bidayuh culture,according to my babai(grandfather); if baby girl, she goin to take a great frandfather’s name,and if baby boy they’re going to name a great grandmother’s name. First time, Mummy thinks it’s funny. My father called me Sherlima.My grandfather and grandma called me Vanna because grandma cannot called me Sunged.It’s her father-in-law’ name.In our culture, one way of respecting our father or mother in law by not calling their name.Otherwise become ‘tulah’ or ‘busung’.Wondering why I got so many names. Hopefully i'm not confuse which name i've to response to..


I am arrived too early than expecting date, not premature just borderline. Supposed one day before Independent Day. My mum at risk of high blood pressure, almost 200 b.p that she never expected, so they have to induce labour…it’s giving a real pain to mummy as a first time mum. But finally all the pain relieved after mum cuddle me in her arms... So, here I am, a precious love of mami and dadi life.
